Roofer/Laborer

As a Roofer/Laborer at Jolly Roofing & Contracting, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, with a primary focus on single-ply systems. Your responsibilities will include working with metal installations such as coping, gutters, and edge metal. Operating heavy equipment and prioritizing safety on the job site are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing and repairing commercial roofing systems, emphasizing single-ply systems (experience with other roofing systems is a plus).
• Perform metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal.
• Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and other roofing machinery.
• Ensure proper job site preparation and clean-up.
• Follow all safety regulations, including the proper use of fall protection and other safety measures.
• Collaborate with roofing technicians and other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Handle materials and tools necessary for roofing projects.
• Maintain high-quality standards and a clean, safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with single-ply roofing systems (experience with other roofing systems is a plus).
• Strong understanding of metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (man lifts, forklifts, etc.).
• Valid state ID or driver's license.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
