Through trauma-informed care, consultation, and collaboration with other health care providers, ACP clinicians focus on creating a therapeutic milieu that supports all members of the residential community towards vital living.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Therapist at ACP, you'll deliver high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to adults experiencing diverse mental health challenges, including:
  • Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Substance use disorders
  • Cognitive decline and dementia
  • Complex medical and psychosocial issues
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and mental health interventions.
  • Travel to various medical and community settings to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing traditional in-office care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

What We're Looking For
  • Master's or Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Active Minnesota license as an LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with diverse and older populations.

Starting Salary Range: Compensation depends on licensure, experience, schedule, and caseload.
  • Master's-level licensed clinicians (LICSW, LMFT): Starting salary range $75,000 - $90,000 annually
  • Doctoral-level licensed clinicians (LP, PsyD, PhD): Starting salary range $90,000 - $105,000 annually
