Salary Range: $32.50 - $49.50

Job Summary

As a Radiation Therapy Specialist, you will:

  • Perform daily imaging and deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation doses with precision.
  • Utilize your technical expertise in equipment, treatment setup, and anatomical landmarks to ensure patient safety and effective care.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with patients, their families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
  • Document patient care accurately in treatment records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Understand and report on the emotional and physical status of patients to the appropriate staff.
  • Work with diverse populations and adapt to their individual growth and development needs.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a radiation therapy program from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
  • Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners is required for practicing in North Dakota.
