Job Summary:

As a Sheet Metal Estimation Specialist, you will gather and assess data to accurately estimate costs for major construction sheet metal projects. Your essential duties will involve plan analysis, materials listing, bid take-off, and collaboration with our sales department to ensure successful bids.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in sheet metal or mechanical estimation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction and sheet metal/mechanical systems, with field experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and capable of being trained in our company-specific applications
  • Experience with Auto bid Sheet Metal (formerly QuickPen) is a plus

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in mathematics
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and accurately forecast project budgets
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
