Human Resources Assistant

The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department, supporting throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding new hires and employee experience to improve retention.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.
  • Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.
  • Schedules and leads orientations, or training sessions.
  • Processes employee status changes; maintains records of completed transactions.
  • Inputs HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.
  • Coordinates HR projects, including meetings, training sessions, and surveys.
  • Acts as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Requirements

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate required; relevant experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Extended periods of exposure to computer screen.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at time.
