Job Responsibilities
As a Certified Surgical Technologist II, you will work under general supervision as a valuable member of the operating room team, responsible for:
- Preparing sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Performing essential room duties that facilitate direct patient care, following established procedural guidelines.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical practices to provide tailored care to patients and their families.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or a military surgical technology program.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Credentialing as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, which must be maintained.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
