Description

  • Basic facility maintenance needs as assigned, i.e., cleans the service and customer areas, sweeps and mops technicians' stalls, etc.
  • Compliance with all laws and regulations about paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
  • Perform inspections of facility safety items as needed & directed.
  • Knowledge of how to operate electronic diagnostic & scan tools.
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors, Shop Foreman, Service Manager, and other supervisors regarding the status of the service work.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment
  • May perform vehicle test drives with the owner & team members to duplicate concerns as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Maintains professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Notifies management of any difficulties or problems after the test drive is completed.
  • Inspects vehicle cleanliness after repairs are completed.
  • Must have the ability to operate automobiles with manual & automatic transmissions.
  • Ability to work some scheduled Saturday shifts (As needed & assigned).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
