Description

• Installing hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
• Implementing and managing software and hardware solutions
• Performing software installations and upgrades
• Maintaining operating systems, hypervisors, virtual machines, physical servers, and storage solutions, including system monitoring, patch installations, and other duties necessary for ongoing system accountability
• Providing user support for target applications and user accounts in Active Directory
• Offering recommendations for additional equipment and services to ensure server and application data integrity and availability
• Assisting in evaluation of vendor products in hardware, software, and other equipment for IT modernization efforts
• Providing support during Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) and System Operational and Verification Testing (SOVT) to include a complete end-to-end test of computer and radio systems in both a controlled lab environment and onboard naval ships
• Performing duties while seated, standing, lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds
• Requiring special protective equipment, training and following safety rules to avoid injury

Requirements

• Three+ years of professional experience in systems administration to include supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
• Experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and integrating different types of Virtual Machines using a variety of hypervisors
• C4I systems experience
• GCCS-J experience

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• Dependent on task, must meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable
• Understanding of how to configure, operate and maintain UHF and HF military radios
• Antenna design and analysis
• Proficient at utilizing various test equipment (i.e. digital multimeter, oscilloscope, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer)
• Understanding of RF design, development, systems integration and testing
• Agile Client experience
• Ansible experience is a plus

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements

• Travel for this position will be OCONUS up to 50%
