GPI is seeking a civil site project engineer to join our growing New England operations in any one of our New Hampshire or Massachusetts offices. We have a backlog of exciting projects ranging from residential developments to various commercial projects and everything in between. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Working on challenging and varying land development projects including a variety of nationally branded clients
  • Being part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians
  • Communicating with clients and local and state agencies
  • Ensuring the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
  • "Hands on" preparation of construction drawings, plans, and project specifications
  • Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
  • Partnering with your supervisory team to meet your future goals and vision
  • Mentoring junior staff
What You Bring to the Table:
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Experience in land development design including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control
  • Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
  • A PE license is preferred, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
  • 2+ years of experience with site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater management
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience in HydroCAD
Requirements
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
  • Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
