3rd shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III needs 7-plus years mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
3rd shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III requires:
- Sun-Fri 1030p-630a
- Associate degree in mechanical technology, electrical technology, or engineering science a plus.
- Vocational training Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, or military technical training strongly preferred.
- Advanced technical knowledge of machine shop operations, welding, mechanical/electrical maintenance principles (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, starters, contactors, three phase power, PLCs) required.
- Ability to read blueprints, possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production maintenance work experience.
- Initiative/motivation and communication skill required.
- Advanced skills and knowledge of the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, electric motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, PLCs, bearings, shafts, production machines and liquid filling equipment required
- Repair, maintain, and support equipment on both Aerosol and Hair Care Packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers, set-ups, installation, and adjustments
- Troubleshoot machine downtime events and utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve issues at their source.
