What You'll Do:

As an Auto Inspector, you'll inspect vehicles arriving and departing the rail facility. You'll verify unit numbers, check for damage, take photos when needed, and document everything accurately using a handheld device.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You Have Experience In:
  • Auto body shops.
  • Vehicle damage inspections at auctions.
  • Dealership service departments.
  • Any role requiring a sharp eye for detail and vehicle condition.
  • If you have mechanical experience and enjoy working outdoors, this role is a great fit. Ideal backgrounds include warehouse, security, railroad, landscaping, or similar fields. You should be comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Inspect railcar units and verify details.
  • Check for damage and ensure security seals are intact.
  • Take photos of damaged units when required.
  • Complete paperwork accurately for the customer.
  • Maintain a clean and safe inspection area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Support team goals and assist with special tasks as needed.
Your Schedule:
  • Full-time position.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
  • Flexibility to cover PTO and vacations.
  • Training may be on a different shift.
