Prime Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
  • Maintain the Trauma PI database ensuring documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct concurrent case reviews to assess quality and timeliness of care provided.
  • Participate in educational programs for nursing and medical staff involved with trauma patients.
  • Act as a liaison to clinical areas managing trauma care.
  • Organize and facilitate monthly Trauma Systems & Operations Committee and Peer Review meetings.

What You Need:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor certification within 30 days of employment.
