Senior IT Program Manager (Epicor Kinetic ERP)
Contract | Remote + Travel | $95-105/hr (1099)

Our client, an established, fast-growing leader in the manufacturing and distribution space, is undergoing a major Epicor Kinetic ERP program spanning multiple locations nationwide. They are seeking a Senior IT Program Manager who can take the reins, bring strategic clarity, and guide this enterprise program through successful delivery.

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee a high-visibility Epicor Kinetic ERP program and partner closely with business and IT leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise goals. Key responsibilities include:
Program Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the end-to-end Epicor Kinetic ERP program, ensuring successful delivery and long-term adoption.
  • Drive strategic planning, roadmap development, and prioritization with executive stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance across project scoping, estimating, release planning, and backlog prioritization.
Agile Excellence & Team Leadership
  • Lead and optimize Scrum ceremonies and Agile practices across multiple teams.
  • Mentor project managers and delivery team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Champion best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across program operations.
Execution, Risk & Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership with clarity and precision.
  • Manage complex project financials, forecasts, and timelines.
  • Navigate organizational challenges while keeping the program on track and stakeholders aligned.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contract requirements, and ensure all parties remain aligned with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with production, engineering, finance, and operations leaders to determine program needs and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Facilitate steering committee and executive sponsor meetings; create detailed status reports and actionable recommendations.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management, including complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Proven track record leading Epicor Kinetic ERP implementations (cloud or hybrid), preferably within manufacturing/distribution.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks, team leadership, and multi-workstream delivery.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar enterprise Agile tools.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, etc.).
  • Experience managing organizational change and driving enterprise-level process improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, cost management.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

This is primarily a remote role; however, travel is required as needed to key sites across the U.S. (HQ, implementation locations, and project-critical meetings).
