Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

Great opportunity in the Myrtle Beach, SC area is available for an Orthopedic NP/PA to work in clinic and the OR.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Ortho NP/PA will work with a multidisciplinary team treating Total Joint Ortho focusing on hips, knees, foot/ankle, sports med, and shoulders
- Duties include surgical procedures with robotics, inpatient and outpatient clinic settings
- Mon-Thurs 8a-5p and Fri 8a-12p
- Must have atleast 50% of NP/PA exp in Total Joint
- Shared call with ortho surgeons approx 1:8 to 1:9 rotation for ED call and clinic call is 1:6
- Support staff available - dedicated Ortho RN, PA's, and experienced surgical team
- EMR used is Cerner
- 17-20 patients per day
- Primarily teen to adult ages
- Visit types include - initial consults, pre/post op, and management of chronic ortho issues
