Job Description
  • Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to create tailored therapy strategies that help them reach their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to offer comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to encourage ongoing progress outside the clinical setting.
  • Track Progress and Adapt Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapy plans when necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
Skills
