Join our dynamic engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, where your technical expertise and creativity will drive the future of our applications. You'll be at the forefront of integrating innovative AI technologies into our products, enhancing user experiences through intelligent automation.

In this role, you will build, maintain, and refine applications that deliver high value while reducing technical debt. You'll lead by example, providing mentorship to fellow engineers and guiding them in best practices. Working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you will shape the direction of features and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver complex features and systems utilizing Ruby on Rails, React, React Native, Postgres, and REST.

  • Lead the development of AI-driven product features using large language models and agentic systems.

  • Architect scalable AI systems employing strategies like prompt engineering and workflow orchestration.

  • Identify and address technical debt, enhancing system reliability and architecture.

  • Mentor team members through code reviews, promoting best practices for AI feature integration.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop clear technical plans from abstract concepts.

  • Improve internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring for AI systems and model performance.

  • Automate evaluations to systematically measure and enhance the reliability of AI systems.

Requirements

This is what we need from you:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.

  • Experience with large language models, AI agents, or automation frameworks.

  • Comprehensive full stack experience in front-end, back-end, and data layers.

  • Advanced skills in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL or React/React Native and Redux.

  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Permanent U.S. residency is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Continuous Discovery Habits.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a salaried position with a range of $165,000 - $215,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
