This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP and proven functional knowledge in FICO, with additional exposure to MM and SD. The successful candidate will be part of a small IT team, that drives S/4HANA initiatives, and align SAP capabilities with business needs across finance, logistics, and retail operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support SAP S/4HANA Application Development and Support projects; support daily operations, and offer technical direction.
  • Assist in design, configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Scope functional enhancements and develop execution plans to improve system performance and meet business needs.
  • Prioritize ERP projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain and update SAP configuration documentation and critical operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ERP issues to maintain system stability and user satisfaction.
  • Develop reports, interfaces, and technical enhancements to support business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, and sales) to align SAP functionality-especially in FICO, MM, and SD.
  • Drive continuous improvement through best practices in SAP architecture, governance, and change management.
  • Support data integrity, testing, and quality monitoring across SAP modules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in SAP ERP application
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP and modern SAP development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (implementation, upgrades, and support) - S/4HANA experience is required.
  • Functional and configuration knowledge in FICO, with additional experience in MM and SD.
  • Proven track record managing full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Preferred

  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or agriculture-related ERP environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP BTP concepts.
  • Familiarity with clean-core principles and cloud extension patterns.
