Role Responsibilities:

• Classroom Leadership: Collaborate closely with teachers to cultivate a stimulating and welcoming atmosphere where children can learn, play, and develop.
• Curriculum Implementation: Assist teachers in executing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, customizing your methods to cater to the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
• Safety First: Ensure a safe and nurturing environment where children are secure and thrive.
• Family Communication: Help teachers keep parents informed about their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a combination of mobile apps and in-person conversations.
• Center Collaboration: Work as a team player with center staff and leadership to achieve retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Relationship Builder: Foster warm connections with families and colleagues, creating an environment where learning and play come together seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED is required; ECE coursework is preferred.
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age.
• Experience: Previous experience in childcare or a strong enthusiasm for early childhood education is preferred.
• State Compliance: Must meet all state-specific guidelines for this role.
• Complete state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and necessary health and safety training.

Caregiving Skills:

• Demonstrated judgment in identifying and addressing potential risks in a childcare environment.
• Ensure children's safety and attend to their daily needs, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Promote good social skills, emphasizing strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Engage children in developmentally suitable activities to keep them active and entertained.
• Display high levels of patience, composure, and professionalism consistently.

Physical Resilience:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without significant discomfort.
• Safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Reach and stretch with arms and hands, climb or balance as necessary.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
• Use stools or ladders to reach high places when needed.
• Ability to supervise children by sight and sound.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in varying temperatures, ranging from 20°F with wind chill to 95°F.
• Maintain mental and physical alertness with adequate energy levels to perform essential job functions.
