Become the Wound Care Program Leader You Aspire to Be

  • Oversee and develop wound care services in compliance with regulatory standards and physician orders.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver guidance on effective wound care treatments.
  • Lead educational training for hospital staff on various wound care topics and provide knowledge to patients and their families on wound management.
  • Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in wound care through continuous education.

Qualifications

  • License/Certification: RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN is required for long-term acute care hospitals.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Education & Experience:
    • A minimum of one year of wound care experience is required.
    • Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong communication, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to work independently.
