Production / Inventory Coordinator

Location: North Charleston, SC
Start Date: November 7, 2025
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (W2)
Shifts Available (Onsite Only):
  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Position Overview

The Production / Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the movement of materials throughout the facility to support uninterrupted production. This includes receiving, staging, tracking, and delivering parts using both manual processes and automated systems. The role also requires monitoring work-in-progress, reporting material status, and coordinating with production teams to prevent delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move parts and materials into and out of storage, production areas, and staging locations.
  • Monitor work-in-process and ensure accurate flow of materials.
  • Use computer systems and manual documentation to update inventory status and track part availability.
  • Identify and resolve basic material discrepancies using established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Qualifications

Required:
  • 1+ year of forklift experience
  • 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience
  • Basic computer/data entry skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or ERP software
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, and climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment around moving equipment.

  • Badging & Orientation: On-site badge pickup and safety orientation required before start
