Summary:
The neuro-interventional radiological technologist is a registered radiologic technologist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology and the desire and aptitude to receive additional training in neuro- vascular procedures. Technologist will be expected to accept additional responsibility and participate in a call rotation. Maintaining CPR credentials and skill level is expected with this position. Technologist works under the professional supervision of a radiologist and practices good ethics in all patient encounters. Integrates radiologic aspects of care of all patients ranging from neonate to geriatrics.
Requirements:
The neuro-interventional radiological technologist may be promoted from within the ranks of staff technologists. Persons promoted will demonstrate a general aptitude and understanding for neuro-vascular radiographic procedures. Experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist is essential. This position is a graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
ARRT certified. Maintaining CPR credentials and skill level is expected with this position.
