Your Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and hospital policies; develop, implement, and maintain quality assessment and improvement programs.
- Monitor adherence to federal, state, and industry regulatory standards, facilitating processes for remediation and ongoing compliance.
- Provide education related to regulations and coordinate local, state, federal, and accreditation surveys.
- Utilize various tools (including PatCom, UDS, ORYX, and Press Ganey) to identify improvement opportunities and generate reports.
- Update and maintain hospital plans, ensuring thorough review of Infection Control and Patient Safety plans.
- Manage risk activities, including incident reports and corrective action planning.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of hospital policies.
- Cultivate collaboration among departments to effectively resolve patient concerns and enhance care delivery.
- Recognize and celebrate the successes of our dedicated team.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Experience in Quality and/or Risk Management, with a strong focus on performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
