Work Shift: Night (7pm to 7:30am)

Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00

Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a Clinical Nurse II in General Pediatrics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a compassionate, caring environment for our patients, their families, and your fellow colleagues. Your contributions are valuable and essential to our mission.

  • Implement physician orders with precision, administer medications, start IVs, perform various treatments and procedures, and document all care in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' health conditions effectively.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to the care provided.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment for effective patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer both over-the-counter and prescription medications as indicated.
  • Collaborate with your nursing team to develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
  • Lead and support ancillary personnel while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program, earning a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be acquired and maintained.
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills along with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving strategies, demonstrating a commitment to patient care improvement.
