Opportunity Details:
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders, including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and other digestive conditions.
- Provide dietary and nutritional counseling, including referrals to registered dietitians, as needed.
- Perform endoscopic and diagnostic procedures, including ERCP, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, upper endoscopy, duodenoscopy, gastroscopy, and barium swallow studies.
- Conduct and participate in clinical research to advance knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases and treatments.
- Prescribe medications and perform therapeutic interventions, including removal of polyps and other colorectal abnormalities.
- Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
- Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasound imaging.
- Unrestricted New York State medical license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Minimum of five years of full-time, licensed experience practicing general medicine.
Per Diem Rate:$200.00* per hour.
