Position Highlights:

  • Collaborate closely with a supportive team at a leading local tertiary care hospital with comprehensive OB/GYN services.
  • Access robust in-house diagnostic testing.
  • Work with a network of professionals including GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU specialists.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive labor care, including monitoring labor progress and delivering babies.
  • Perform and assist in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
  • Deliver triage services for obstetric patients with urgent or emergent conditions.
  • Coordinate patient care with nurses, midwives, and other health professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring they are informed and educated about their care.
  • Provide compassionate and effective care while promoting health and treating health issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through commitment, ethics, and sensitivity to diversity.
  • Engage in departmental meetings and committees, contributing to a culture of collaboration.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts and community engagement to support the department's mission.

Requirements: Unrestricted licensure in New York, Board Certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, and an active DEA license or ability to obtain it.

The salary range for New York residents is $278,500 to $484,500 per year, with compensation reflective of qualifications and experience. UnitedHealth Group offers a wide array of benefits and incentives for employees.
