General Nurse Practitioner

Join our dynamic team as a General Nurse Practitioner specializing in Surgery. We are looking for a skilled advanced practice provider to enhance our service line, dedicated to delivering top-tier care and engaging in innovative research.
Position Highlights:
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care to adult patients recovering from intricate cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacement, and ECMO support.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage mechanical circulatory devices (VV/VA ECMO, IABP, Impella device) while titrating vasoactive medications as needed.
- Perform essential procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, chest tube insertions and management, and pacemaker management.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary rounds, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and deliver patient and family education.
- Enjoy a shift-based schedule with rotating weekends and holidays—no night shifts or on-call duties required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery is essential.
- ICU experience is advantageous.
- Must be an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant.
