Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Property Accountant with experience in the Real Estate industry. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all transactions
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Assist with month-end close procedures
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns
  • Assist with annual budget preparation
  • Provide support for external audits
  • Participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
  • Experience in the Real Estate or Property Accounting industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Must have experience with Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
