District / School Overview
One of the exciting aspects of working here is our student diversity. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adhering to local, State and federal regulations regarding School Food Service and the Child Nutrition Program.
- Prepares and handles food safely. Meals are delivered each night by an outside vendor
- Serving food, assisting with record keeping. Reviews delivery ticket to make sure we received the correct number of meals.
- Responsible for meal preparation, serving line setup, receiving, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities
- Communicates effectively with food service staff, food service director, school faculty, administration.
- Attends training as required (6 hours mandated training).
- Ability to become Servsafe Certified
- Displays a high level of personal and professional integrity in the performance of duties
- Accomplishes all tasks in a manner that promotes excellent customer service. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Hourly Position
- M-F when school is in session
- 7:30am-1:00pm
- Candidates must be over the age of 18
- All employees are subject to background checks including CORI and Fingerprints
- Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.
