Sanford Health is excited to invite Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologists to become part of our dedicated team at Sanford Children's Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of over 20 pediatric specialties, including pediatric surgery, with two exceptional on-staff pediatric surgeons.

  • Engage in a clinic-based practice complemented by comprehensive hospital consults across our Children's Hospital (NICU, Peds, PICU).
  • Be a vital part of a support team that includes 1 MD and 1 Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Collaborate closely with our three skilled Board Certified pediatric surgeons.
  • Conduct endoscopic procedures for both in-hospital and outpatient clinic patients.
  • Work within the largest network of over 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatric specialists in the region.
  • Contribute to the region's only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
  • Utilize a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, additional flexible beds if needed, a 24-bed pediatric unit, and a 40-bed Level III NICU.
  • Become part of a member organization of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
  • Serve a vast catchment area of 1.2 million patients across North Dakota, Minnesota, and parts of South Dakota and Montana.
  • Enjoy a joint appointment as clinical faculty with the Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, engaging with medical students and family medicine residents while preparing for an upcoming pediatric residency in 2024.
  • Take advantage of the Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligibility at Sanford Health Fargo.
