Job Description:
  • The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and modern IT infrastructure solutions.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, security frameworks, and database technologies.
  • The architect will provide strategic guidance, ensure compliance, and lead initiatives to optimize performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Industry Awareness & Technology Adoption: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate and recommend new solutions to maintain a modern, competitive IT infrastructure. Apply architectural best practices for seamless integration with existing environments.
  • Strategic Planning & Capacity Management: Develop short- and long-term IT architecture strategies. Lead capacity planning for storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data retention, ensuring scalability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Solution Design & Deployment: Architect and deploy reliable, secure, and cost-effective hardware and software solutions. Optimize performance while minimizing operational risks.
  • Security & Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies and procedures. Ensure systems comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate security risks through audits and proactive measures.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Migration: Design and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and automation tools such as Ansible or Chef. Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to cloud environments leveraging both PaaS and IaaS.
  • Database & Big Data Expertise: Architect solutions for relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases, and big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, open-source ecosystems). Ensure systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with developers, business analysts, security teams, and stakeholders to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs. Mentor junior architects and engineers, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, including hardware, hosting, and networking.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute architecture strategies and capacity plans.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), automation tools (Ansible, Chef), and migration methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as big data technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco, VMware) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Exposure to automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive organizational change.
