Position Purpose
This position has different duties depending on the season. From April-November, performs duties related to the care and maintenance of turf and other vegetation at the practice golf courses on the Dartmouth campus in Hanover, NH. From December-March performs lift operations and other functions related to the daily operation of the Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme Center, NH.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Six months of relevant golf course maintenance
• Ability to operate, maintain and service ski lifts and equipment relating to daily operations
• Ability and willingness to work on weekends and holidays
• Able to perform physical labor in all kinds of weather including extreme winter conditions
• Knowledge and experience with seeding, sodding, pruning and irrigation methods
• Ability to follow instructions orally and in writing and to work cooperatively as part of a team
• New Hampshire pesticide/insecticide applicator's certification required
• Ability to work at heights up to fifty (50) feet high
• Must successfully complete the following training prior to performing work to which training is related: Driver safety, Hazard Communication, Completed qualified climber course, Lockout/Tagout
  

Preferred Qualifications

• First aid certification
• Skiway operations experience
