Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-oriented Account Manager focused on our psychiatry portfolio. This role requires expertise in specialty products and the ability to navigate market complexities in primary care and neurology settings. As part of our team, you will execute sales and marketing strategies while leveraging your clinical knowledge to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning & Account Leadership: Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and resource allocation, monitoring progress and adjusting tactics to maximize performance.
  • Selling: Communicate effectively with customers, address their needs and objections, and encourage actions that lead to positive outcomes.
  • Customer Development: Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships that align with organizational goals.
  • Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: Analyze market trends and account dynamics to identify unique opportunities.
  • Reimbursement Knowledge: Stay informed on reimbursement issues and use Lundbeck resources to tackle payer access challenges.
  • Compliance: Adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies to ensure ethical promotion of our products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or related healthcare sales.
  • Ability to excel in product knowledge training and certification.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must reside within 40 miles of designated territory and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to general practitioners and in primary care settings.
  • Background in CNS or neuroscience products.
  • Experience working with alliance partners.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel 30%-40% for customer interactions and conferences, with timely travel completion.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $108,000 to $125,000, with a potential sales incentive of $39,000. We offer flexible paid time off (PTO), comprehensive health benefits, a 401k with company match, and a company car. Further information on benefits can be found on our career page.
