Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time, school-based Licensed Practical Nurse to provide in-person services for one high school student with a seizure disorder. This position is for the current school year.

Licensed Practical Nurse Pay Range: $45-$55 per hour

Licensed Practical Nurse Position Details:

  • Would need to feel comfortable with administering medicine if needed
    Student attends community-based instruction trips daily from 9am -12pm, LPN is expected to attend
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
  • Must have NJ LPN Licensure or Compact LPN Licensure
  • School Certification in New Jersey
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain.)
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities May Include:
  • Supporting and evaluating primary and secondary students with IEPs
  • Communicating to the internal team on the content of records and summarizing benefits
  • Attending some evaluation meetings held Monday through Friday
  • Access to personal fax machine/copier/scanner for transmission of confidential documents
