Full-Time Floating Customer Service Teller

DESCRIPTION

As an essential member of our retail team, Floating Customer Service Tellers provide outstanding service to customers by efficiently handling transactions, addressing inquiries, and uncovering financial needs. This position requires flexibility, as you will travel to various locations and maintain a varied schedule to meet the operational needs of the bank.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Show open availability to work a flexible schedule that may change weekly or daily based on bank requirements.
• Travel to different bank locations within a defined geographic area, potentially with short notice.
• Maintain access to reliable transportation for commuting to multiple branches.
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
• Meet financial wellness activity goals, such as identifying referral opportunities for customers.
• Assist customers and visitors, proactively engaging to understand their needs and informing them of product/service features and benefits. Refer customers to appropriate team members for complex requests.
• Greet customers warmly and take ownership in resolving any issues they may have.
• Balance the teller drawer daily and participate in dual control balancing of vaults, ATMs, and other devices as necessary.
• Manage an elevated drawer limit and possess signing authority as appropriate within the teller system.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in person, over the phone, and through email communications, contributing to our North(west) star experience and promoting customer financial wellness.

• Complete assigned educational training and self-educate through bank-designed programs and applications.
• Have a thorough understanding of bank systems and software while being knowledgeable about all products, services, and digital offerings.
• Adhere strictly to all security and dual control processes.
• Participate in branch opening and closing tasks as required.
• Safeguard the bank against unnecessary risks by following compliance, risk, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve daily tasks while demonstrating respect, professionalism, and promptness. Support management with special requests as necessary.
• Work evening hours and weekends as scheduled or needed.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience:

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking and/or retail experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is generally $15.50 - $17.05 per hour, plus a $1/hour premium. Mileage reimbursement is also provided for this role. Actual pay will depend on factors including the candidate's experience, skills, and knowledge. Additional bonus opportunities and benefits are available.
