Job Overview

SA Rainmaker LLC is seeking a hands-on, organized, and driven Field Supervisor to oversee our irrigation and landscaping installation crews on commercial and residential job sites. This role is key to ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the high standards our clients expect. You'll lead a mix of internal crew members and subcontractors, manage materials and equipment, and serve as the crucial link between the field and the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities for commercial and residential install crews
  • Conduct site walks and verify project readiness
  • Manage quality control and ensure installations meet company and client standards
  • Handle client handoffs with professionalism and clarity
  • Order and track job-specific materials, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy
  • Collaborate with office staff on scheduling, change orders, and updates
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper field use of tools such as skid steers, trenchers, and mini-excavators
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in irrigation, landscaping, or construction field supervision
  • Strong leadership and crew management skills
  • Familiarity with commercial-scale landscaping and irrigation projects (e.g., apartment complexes, hotels)
  • Ability to operate or oversee use of heavy equipment (skid steer, trencher, mini-excavator)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience managing subcontractors
  • Proficiency with job documentation and communication tools

Work Schedule
  • Full-time: Monday-Friday
  • Standard shift hours with some flexibility depending on project needs
Work Location
  • Based out of our office in San Antonio, TX
  • Job sites are clustered primarily north of the I-10 / 410 loop
  • Minimal overnight travel; local projects only
