ER RN Job Details – Pennsylvania Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Clearfield, PA 16830 (Central Pennsylvania)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week), days (07:00 - 19:00) and nights (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960 per week
• Setting: Emergency Department (12 beds, 10 rooms, average 60 visits/day)
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Scheduling: Block schedule

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to provide care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for a variety of emergency conditions
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, administer IV sedation, and care for ventilated patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Unit Secretary
• Utilize Cerner for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Comply with hospital policies, credentialing, and onboarding requirements
