Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership - Manage end-to-end formal projects within and between phases. Act as the primary client contact, ensuring alignment with project scope, driving project governance, and facilitating decision-making.
  • Project Planning & Execution - Partner with Sales and Delivery to mobilize, kick off, manage, and close projects. Complete readiness checklists, manage scope, timeline, and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, RAID Log, and other essential project documentation.
  • Team Resourcing - Ensure projects are appropriately staffed throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with the internal operations team to coordinate resources across the company.
  • Risk & Stakeholder Management - Identify and mitigate risks to scope, timeline, budget, and resources. Maintain risk/issue logs, communicate proactively with clients and leadership, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
  • Client Relationships - Build strong, trusted partnerships with clients. Foster a collaborative, positive environment through clear and consistent communication.
  • Steering Committee Leadership - Drive education and alignment with client executives through bi-weekly updates, reporting progress, and serving as the point of escalation for the Perficient team.
  • Quality & Delivery - Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and client requirements. Oversee testing, deployment, and change management, while monitoring project performance and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including at least 5 years leading large-scale Salesforce projects as a senior team member, architect, project manager, or engagement lead
  • Proven success managing engagements exceeding $250K in scope and budget
  • Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment at every level
  • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including their capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, typically once per quarter; frequency may vary based on client needs and SOW budget, and some roles may not require travel.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred; Agile, AI, or Project Management certifications are a plus


Compensation and Employment Policy

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
