Your Role: In this position, you'll work from Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing critical imaging services in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will have access to clinical resources and support that empower you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.

As a key member of our care delivery team, you’ll:

  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper file identification.
  • Operate MRI and associated equipment competently.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed for all individuals entering the MR room.
  • Maintain clear communication with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
  • Conduct quality control and report tasks, manage daily schedules, and assist radiologists to support exceptional patient care.
  • Review patient requisitions to ensure accurate setup and compliance with medical requirements.
  • Educate patients about procedures to enhance understanding and comfort.
  • Provide mentorship to new team members.
  • Maintain continuous quality standards adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the American College of Radiology accreditation process every three years.
  • Keep your CPR certification up to date.
  • Ensure a positive experience for patients and referring providers through knowledge-sharing and clear communication.
  • Maximize productivity in out-patient operations.
  • Monitor patients for vital signs during examinations.
  • Practice sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
  • Engage in professional development to maintain certifications and enhance skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration within a supportive work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification.
  • MRI certification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively use the department's computerized systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients weighing up to 300 pounds.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20.

Work Location: Mount Kisco, NY

Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $28.61 to $56.06, based on experience and qualifications.
