job summary:
Leading industrial parts manufacturer is in search of a skilled Document Control Specialist to join their team. We are seeking candidates with 2-5 years of data entry experience, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with document management software such as Excel & Microsoft Office Suite. This position will focus on the transformation of Engineering drawings, specifications, customer information into an electronic form.

This position is a 3 month temp position ranging from $28-$29/hr. Position is M-F in office approximately 40/hrs a week. Please apply today

responsibilities:

  • Track the creation, review, revision, and distribution of engineering documents, such as drawings, specifications, and reports into an excel spreadsheet

  • Verify that documents are accurate, complete, and formatted correctly, following both internal procedures and external regulations.

  • Oversee the maintenance of project records and archives to ensure they are properly stored and accessible.

  • Document all revision activity.

  • Assist engineering teams by managing documentation for new products, process improvements, and other initiatives.
