Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and final readings of X-ray film against a viewing screen to identify flaws in castings such as cracks, porosity, or core shifts.
- Ensure all developed film meets specified requirements including angles and part numbers.
- Utilize a densitometer to verify that film density meets specifications.
- Monitor the development process to ensure film is produced correctly.
- Prepare customer reports detailing X-ray readings and interpretations.
- Obtain additional certifications and credentials as needed for career advancement.
- Participate in special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of relevant NDT experience preferred.
- Must be able to achieve Level II certification.
Candidates offered employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background study before starting work.
