1. Dashboard Development and Maintenance:
Design and implement monitoring dashboards for SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver using Splunk and Grafana.
Create custom visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and system metrics, ensuring real-time monitoring of SAP environments. - Develop and maintain alerts, reports, and dashboards for proactive system health monitoring.
2. Data Integration and Scripting:
Integrate data from multiple sources into Splunk and Grafana for comprehensive monitoring.
Write and optimize SQL scripts to extract and process data from SAP HANA databases.
Develop Python scripts for automating data processing, reporting, and integration tasks.
3. System Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the health and performance of SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver applications, identifying and troubleshooting issues in real-time. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that monitoring tools and dashboards are effectively configured and updated.
Provide insights and recommendations for system optimization based on monitoring data analysis.
4. Implementation and Support:
Participate in the implementation of monitoring solutions during the deployment of SAP systems.
Support existing dashboards, making improvements and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Document monitoring processes, configurations, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in building monitoring dashboards, with at least 2 full implementation cycles.
Tools: Proficiency in Splunk and Grafana for monitoring dashboard creation and customization.
Scripting: Strong skills in Python for data processing and automation tasks.
SQL: Excellent knowledge of SQL scripting, including writing queries to extract and manipulate data from SAP HANA.
Knowledge of SAP Systems: familiarity with SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver applications, including understanding system performance indicators.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues identified through monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in DevOps methodology
Experience with other monitoring and automation tools.
Certifications in SAP HANA and related monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana).
