This role is crucial for the success of our retail stores. As a Part-time Customer Support Associate, you will engage closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer queries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. Your primary goal will be to swiftly resolve any customer concerns and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. You will also keep updated with product features and uphold the visual and quality standards of both the products and the store, while consistently contributing to the store's sales targets.

This position will involve interaction with customers of all ages and may include handling cash and various payment methods, electronic equipment, and store merchandise, either under supervision or independently. Thus, a review of criminal history is required to protect our customers, staff, and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in-person and over the phone by assessing their needs and suggesting suitable products.
  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately according to policies and procedures.
  • Achieve sales goals consistently each month.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and create appealing displays.
  • Keep store equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Keep assigned areas stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about products and available options.
  • Adhere to inventory management procedures.
  • Contribute ideas to boost sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Availability to work all scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • For internal applicants: Must have a minimum performance rating of meets expectations.
  • Must complete all required HR eLearning courses for your current position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with paint and paint-related products.
  • Previous experience with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus; Spanish-speaking skills are especially valued.
