Introduction

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Finance (FI/CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have participated in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA upgrade project and possess extensive functional knowledge across S/4 HANA. This role requires strong collaboration with Finance stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of finance transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
  • Deep SAP S/4 HANA functional knowledge and S/4 HANA upgrade experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Effective communication skills with team members, management, and product owners.
  • Exceptional documentation skills with standard tools for data flows, such as Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Project Systems and Group Reporting functions in S/4.
  • S/4 HANA experience with large financial institutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead and support SAP ECC to S/4 HANA upgrade projects, focusing on Finance (FI/CO) modules.
  • Drive functional design, configuration, and testing for S/4 HANA Finance processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper integration and solution delivery.
  • Prepare functional specifications, oversee development, and perform unit and integration testing.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for S/4 HANA Finance processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during upgrade.
  • Deliver training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Participate in cutover planning and go-live support.
