As an Auto Glass Technician Trainee, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact while bringing joy to customers' everyday lives. We will provide you with the training necessary to install and repair auto glass, recalibrate car safety systems, and ensure that our service is unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn the Safelite way through paid hands-on and classroom training.
  • Install and repair auto glass and recalibrate automotive safety systems.
  • Offer additional services and products to enhance customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and utilize company-issued tools throughout your workday.
  • Prepare for advancement to a Safelite-certified Technician by testing your knowledge and applying techniques learned in training.

What We Offer:

  • Weekly competitive pay starting at $23.50 per hour.
  • Pay increases to $27.75 per hour after successful training, with evaluations every six months for outstanding performance.
  • Opportunities for promotion within your first year, based on performance metrics that demonstrate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Paid training and all tools required to succeed in your role.
  • A bonus of $5 for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety.
  • Additional paid time off through a program allowing you to buy or sell unused time (up to 16 hours).
  • A comprehensive benefits package valued at over $10,000, including 401(k) with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old, with a valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability to adapt to customer needs within scheduled workdays.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred, along with the ability to read and write.
