WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NY.

Job Function:

  • Day Shift.
  • 7am-5:30 pm.
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR.  
  • Prep operating room for patient/procedure and assist other staff in breaking down the room.  
  • Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient.  
  • Provides accurate care and handling of specimens.  
  • Initiates corrective actions whenever needed.  
  • Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis.  

Job Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience required.
  • Previous Travel Experience Required: Yes.
  • Certifications required: BLS, New York State RN Licensure (minimum requirements).
