Box and Pallet Builders - Northampton, PA

$19.00 - $20.00/Hourly

Openings on 1st & 2nd shifts

1st shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm

2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10pm

Join our team in Northampton, PA, a location known for its vibrant community and rich history, as a detail-oriented and reliable Box Maker. This role is crucial in ensuring products are securely packaged for safe and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and assess product dimensions to determine appropriate box sizes and materials
  • Construct wooden pallets and boxes and other packaging containers using hand tools and automated equipment
  • Assemble cardboard boxes and other packaging containers using hand tools or automated equipment
  • Customize boxes for irregularly shaped or fragile items to ensure secure transport
  • Label, seal, and stack completed boxes for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with shipping and inventory teams to meet daily packaging quotas
  • Inspect boxes for defects and ensure compliance with shipping requirements
  • Operate box-making machinery and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3 years minimum previous experience in warehouse or packaging roles
  • Ability to read measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Capable of standing for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of shipping procedures and packaging standards
