Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Maintaining sterile fields while upholding infection control protocols
  • Supplying instruments and materials to surgeons and surgical assistants
  • Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
  • Tracking supplies and ensuring operational readiness for each surgery
  • Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel
  • Keeping accurate surgical counts and documentation
Education Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Certifications Needed:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
  • BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
