BOS Staffing has partnered with a well respected mid-size accounting firm in Atlanta, GA in searching for an Audit Manager to lead quality control reviews and manage financial statement engagements across various industries. If You Have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA license
  • 10+ years of experience in public accounting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting and auditing literature
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Robust organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or CaseWare (a plus)
You Will Be:
  • Performing independent quality control reviews of audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Leading annual internal monitoring for quality control
  • Coordinating external peer reviews every 3 years
  • Maintaining and updating the firm's quality control document
  • Staying current with the latest accounting and auditing guidance
  • Planning, managing, and performing financial statement engagements
  • Developing comprehensive understanding of client operations and business objectives
  • Working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Maintaining open communication with the engagement team
  • Developing client relationships through exceptional service
  • Traveling to clients within the Atlanta Metro area (less than 20% travel)
