Assembler Level I

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler Level I In this role, you will engage in a variety of sub-assembly and basic assembly tasks during our afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathering necessary components, tools, and materials.
  • Positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements for accurate assembly.
  • Assembling components with attention to detail, ensuring correct fit and fastening of parts.
  • Assisting with building prototypes and other assembly projects as needed.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized workspace in compliance with company procedures.
  • Using resources efficiently to achieve excellent results.
  • Contributing to team success by helping to train colleagues on basic assembly tasks.
  • Inspecting your work to ensure it meets quality standards before passing it on to the next step in the process.
  • Documenting production activities and quality checks accurately.

We are looking for team members who:

  • Have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ideally have 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Can safely use small hand and power tools.
  • Are able to read and interpret drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Have basic computer skills.
  • Can read and understand instructions and communicate in English.

This role involves physical demands such as:

  • Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Continuous standing and walking during shifts.
