Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, DAY shifts.
Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, implement physician orders, perform essential treatments, and document all patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
- Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests to effectively assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and respond proactively to patient care needs.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment to make informed patient care management decisions.
- Provide immediate care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer prescribed medications and oversee the Plan of Care development with the nursing team.
- Guide and support ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years' clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is essential.
- Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills are crucial.
- Understanding of quality concepts and the ability to implement them in patient care improvement efforts.
